The adidas YEEZY KNIT RUNNER “Sulfur” Releases On September 23rd

The adidas YEEZY KNIT RUNNER “Sulfur” Releases On September 23rd

First teased by Kanye West in August 2020, the adidas YEEZY KNIT RUNNER is set to debut in a “Sulfur” colorway on Thursday, September 23rd.

With a shape identical to the highly-popular YEEZY FOAM RUNNER, the upcoming silhouette delivers yet another peek into ‘ye’s vision for laceless footwear. Yet, the YZY KNT RNNR (formerly known as the “Turreliens” and “TRRL RNR”) exchanges an algae and EVA foam construction for an entirely textile one. The sock-like YEEZYs are sculpted at the Achilles’ Heel, mid-foot and toe, surely for durability purposes. Akin to an early prototype shared by Mr. West, retail versions of the shoe will don sizing information on the lateral heel. The crevice at the center of where a midsole would traditionally go, however, has been ostensibly made less prominent, likely for stability. Lastly, the two-tone style features a herringbone-patterned (rubber?) outsole, which hadn’t previously been depicted in non-official images.

In remaining YEEZY release dates 2021, the YEEZY 700 “Wash Orange” has been confirmed for an October drop.
