Failures: Most hit Biden, media for border disaster

.

Seven in 10 now view the chaos on the U.S.-Mexico border as “a crisis” and blame President Joe Biden and the media for it.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, even majorities of Democrats and liberals fault Biden and the media for the unfolding disaster, which is most pronounced along the Rio Grande in Texas.

The survey found that 70% feel the border is a disaster.

And by a margin of 54%-37%, most likely voters believe that the crisis was created by Biden and not former President Donald Trump, whose border-tightening policies Biden has erased.

Biden gets few points for reversing the Trump plan. Just 13% call his performance “excellent.”

Most fail him. Overall, 67% say his handling of the issue has been poor to fair, with over half, 52%, rating it as poor.

And the view of the media’s coverage is just as bad. Some 73% disapprove of the media coverage, which has only started to focus on the border as some 15,000 migrants, many from Haiti, have camped out under a Texas border bridge.
