Syracuse, N.Y. —Fans of the New York Giants in Central New York will have to make alternate plans to watch Big Blue on television Sunday.
Fox 68 WSYT in Syracuse has decided to show the Washington Football Team’s matchup at the Buffalo Bills over the Giants hosting the Atlanta Falcons.
Both games are scheduled for the 1:00 p.m. broadcast window on Fox, forcing the local affiliate to make a choice on which game to air.
Fox 68/My 43 General Manager Don O’Connor says the station chooses to air the game it feels has greater local appeal.
The Bills and WFT are both 1-1 through two games of the 2021 NFL season. The Giants and Falcons have both started 0-2.
Fox Sports Go will carry the Giants-Falcons game.
The Giants’ website lists the following streaming options for fans to still watch the game:
- Yahoo! Sports (mobile browser or app)
- New York Giants official app for iOS devices
- New York Giants mobile website for iOS devices (Safari browser ONLY)
Local broadcast restrictions and cable sign-in requirements may prevent fans from accessing the streaming options.
If you’re out of market, you can use a VPN, such as NordVPN or ExpressVPN to avoid location restrictions and enjoy the game wherever you are.

The Giants-Falcons game will also air locally on radio on ESPN Syracuse (97.7/100.1 FM).
