Ben Simmons doesn't want to play for the Philadelphia 76ers anymore. Fortunately for the Sixers, one commercial sponsor doesn't share the same sentiment with the beleaguered point-forward. Amid all the drama surrounding Simmons and the Sixers, the team has locked up a partnership with Crypto.

Crypto's logo will be appearing on the jersey of Philly players as a patch, just like StubHub did over the past four seasons. StubHub's out now as the Sixers' jersey patch sponsor, obviously, as Crypto assumes real estate on Philly's sweet threads.

Cryptocurrency has become mainstream now and only a few speak louder about that than an NBA team endorsing a crypto-based company.

Despite the volatile nature of cryptocurrency, that's not stopping the masses from embracing it. It's the contrary when it comes to Ben Simmons' perimeter shooting. His shaky shooting from the field has caused some Philly fans to feel extremely negative about his future with the team. It did not help that Simmons was barely felt on offense in the 2021 NBA Playoffs in which he averaged just 11.9 points and shot a horrendous 34.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Whether Simmons will be with the Sixers on opening night of the 2021-22 NBA season remains uncertain, which to some extent, is also something you can say about cryptocurrencies.
