Riot Games released another balance patch for Valorant, bringing some of the more powerful agents in line while trying to get Kay/O some popularity.

Valorant 's resident robot has been a bit forgotten, on the account of just not being good enough to compete with the cream of the crop. Kay/O saw some pretty good buffs in patch 3.06 that should bring his power up a bit closer to that of regular initiators or lockdown artists.

Flash/Drive windup is now 0.3 seconds instead of 0.5. Furthermore, the windup telegraph will go down from one second to 0.3 and the audio from the in-flight projectile has been removed. Overall, this should make the ability much harder to escape so we are likely to see more opportunities for the robot to initiate fights. On top of that, Kay/O's ulti will keep pulsing even when he's downed.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have Jett and Skye, who have enjoyed a little bit too much power.

Jet is losing one of her smokes, forcing the decision making to be much more crucial and responsible since she can no longer chuck smokes just like that. Bladestorm's alt-fire will no longer refresh the knives so you will likely see more precision shooting instead of throwing all knives at once.

Skye's Guiding Light will now take longer to prepare, after she equips it but also have a longer windup time, giving the opponents a chance to fight back. Her ultimate now requires seven charges instead of six.
