Netflix’s ‘Virgin River’ Season 4: What To Expect [Spoilers]

Based off of Robyn Carr’s book series with the same name, Netflix viewers can’t seem to get enough of Virgin River. With out giving too much away, from the looks of the trailer, Mel and Jack finally give thier relationship a real try.
Virgin River Season 3 recap (spoilers)
Interestingly enough, according to an Entertainment Tonight interview, the show’s stars Martin Henderson (Jack) and Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel) were shocked to find out that Virgin River was picked up for Season 3. This is because at the time that they found out, Season 1 was the only season available for streaming. Not only that, but they’d just wrapped filming Season 2. So, as Henderson says, it was shocking to hear about Season 3 based on the the popularity of Season 1.
Fans that watched Virgin River Season 3 know that Mel and Jack are trying for a baby. This is makes Jack’s life all the more complicated because he’s already expecting twins with his ex Charmaine.
What we know about new seasons
Good news is Netflix picks Virgin River up for Season 4 & 5, according to Yahoo. Just yesterday (Setember 21st), the show’s official Instagram confirms Season 4&5. The announcement is a play on Jack getting down on one knee and proposing to Mel. So, is that a sign of things to come?

Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, there isn’t a concrete release date. As TV Shows Ace previously reports, there is speculation based on some things found on social media. For example, The Watershed Grill shares on their Instagram that they were closed on August 30th and September 1st. This is significant because this bar is Jack’s bar in the show.
Further speculation is that if filming was really happening at the end of August, beginning of September, that Season 4 will likely release around the Spring or Summer of 2022.
