Sept. 22 is Hobbit Day, celebrating the birthday of the hobbits Bilbo and Frodo Baggins from J.R.R Tolkien’s books The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings, Tolkien week itself is the week that contains this day.
In a celebration of that, the Hobbit House (4428 State Rd. 44 West, Connersville) is hosting its own celebration for the week and the day, with it’s first ever Hobbit Festival.
