Narragansett Beer to celebrate Oktoberfest

 Narragansett Beer is throwing a three-day Oktoberfest event Friday, Oct. 1 to Oct. 3 in Providence at its new brewery, 271 Tockwotton St.

Guests can sip on Fest, a Marzen lager, and the new Gourd Reaper pumpkin beer. There will also be German treats and a stein holding competition, Tickets must be purchased in advance via Eventbrite. They cost $20.

Beyond the event, the season signals the return of Narragansett Beer’s seasonal Oktoberfest beer Fest. The 5.5% ABV amber lager is brewed with Germany hops and malts. It's available in 16 ounce cans and at Narragansett’s brewery as well as stores.
