Novato’s Kiana Briggs shot an even-par 31 to take medalist honors but the Terra Linda High girls golf team emerged with a 158-160 victory at McInnis Park on Tuesday.
Two Trojans — Zohie Betts and Piper Egan — posted career-best rounds with 36s.
Sophia Raymond (46) and Lola Spendov (49) led the way as Tam picked up a pair of close wins at par-33 Mill Valley on Tuesday — 206-212 against Archie Williams and 206-222 against San Marin. Freshman Alessia Ducati shot a personal-best 55 to help the Red-tailed Hawks edge out the Peregrine Falcons. Match medalist Ryan Magnusson shot a 44 for Archie Williams. San Marin was led by Leilani Brennan’s 49.
Renee Wahbeh shot a 37 to lead Redwood to a 165-231 victory against San Rafael at Peacock Gap on Monday. Imani Kathiriya shot a 40 for the Giants. Taylor Bridges shot a 42 and Gracelynn Rider had a 46.
Women’s golf
Claire Shubin shot an 5-over-par 147 over two rounds at Peacock Gap to help Dominican place fifth at Birdie Fest on Tuesday.
Shubin shot a 72 in the first round then a 75 on Tuesday to finish in eighth place. Teammate Angelica Antonio finished 12th at 8-over par.
The Penguins shot 27-over par to take fifth, just five strokes behind third-place Holy Names. Academy of Art won the tournament at 15 over.
