High School Girls Tennis: Unbeaten Kingston edges Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Unbeaten Kingston High is now 3-0 in girls tennis after defeating Middletown 4-3 in an Orange County Interscholastic League match Monday.

The Tigers followed a familiar pattern by dominating singles play as Lila Freeman, Eliz Madonna, Aliyah Faircloth and Iris Laves all won. Freeman had her toughest match of the season. She lost the first set to Cymone Crump, then rallied to win 6-2, 6-1.

Kingston is home to Warwick for a 5 p.m. match on Wednesday.
