Victor, N.Y. (WHAM) - Several students and adults tested positive for coronavirus in the Victor Central School District.
According to a letter from the superintendent, there are 24 active cases. 21 are students, three are adults. 15 of the student cases are from Victor Primary School.
Tuesday, 118 students were absent from Victor Primary School, 88 of them due to quarantines.
The district is working with the Ontario County Health Department to keep buildings open for in-person learning, while increasing cleaning and sanitizing efforts.
The district also plans to set up testing in the next two weeks for students to test out of quarantine, in accordance with the state mandate.
The school is moving its Thursday "Get Acquainted Night" to a virtual event.
