Britney Spears updates fans on ‘very private’ sons in belated birthday tribute

Britney Spears’ love for her kids is not only “stronger than yesterday” but than ever before.

The pop superstar, 39, updated fans on her “very private” sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15 — whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline — in a belated birthday tribute shared Tuesday.

“There is nothing stronger than the love between a mother and son,” Spears’ post read, accompanied by a lengthy caption about her evolving role as a mother of teenage boys.

“My boys’ birthdays were last week … and unfortunately they are growing up and want to do their own things,” she began. “I have to ask their permission to post them because they are extremely independent little men 🤷🏼‍♀️😂🥺 !!!”

Spears went on to describe the “small party” she planned for her children, which involved the “coolest ice cream cakes.”

Elsewhere, the Grammy winner expressed awe at watching Sean and Jayden grow into young men.

“It makes me crazy because they are so tall and geez they are still growing 😳😳😳 !!!” she continued. “They went to a dance last week and I cried for two days 😭😭😭 my babies in a suit !!! It’s crazy !!!”

Spears concluded her post by detailing her sons’ desire to stay out of the spotlight.

“There’s a lot I can’t share with you all because my kids are very private which I love but I will tell you they are both extremely talented and I’m so incredibly blessed to have these two little men in my life ❤️🙏🏼 !!!” she added.

“And if they’re reading this … which I’m pretty sure they’re not … I love you two little devils so much 😈❤️😈 !!!”

Sean turned 16 on Sept. 14, while Jayden turned 15 on Sept. 12 — the same day Spears accepted a proposal from model-actor Sam Asghari after five years of dating amid her 13-year conservatorship.

The bride-to-be took a brief hiatus from social media to bask in the glow of her engagement, she said, but returned after less than a week to share some selfies.

The singer’s next court hearing in the legal battle against her estranged father, Jamie Spears — who, in 2008, established the restrictive legal arrangement that controls her life — is set to take place on Sept. 29.

In addition to having no present contact with his famous daughter, the elder Spears, 69, hasn’t seen his grandsons in years as a domestic restraining order was established in 2019 following an alleged physical altercation with Sean. (Jamie Spears was later cleared of child abuse charges.)

Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship — which has been examined in multiple documentaries — will receive further examination in Netflix’s upcoming doc, “Britney Vs. Spears.”

In a teaser released Tuesday, Spears can be heard leaving a voice message for an attorney on January 21, 2009, at approximately 12:29 a.m.

“Hi. My name is Britney Spears. I called you earlier. I’m calling again because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of eliminating the conservatorship…” she says in the clip.

Page Six confirmed earlier this month that Jamie Spears filed a petition to end the conservatorship following years of staunch resistance and an Aug. 30 filing from Britney Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, which accused his client’s father of extorting $2 million in exchange to step down from his supervising role.

During her court testimony on June 23, Spears described her conservatorship as “abusive” and expressed her desire to charge her father with “conservatorship abuse.”
