Carl Kinkle Jr., 76, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2021, at Elk River Health and Rehab in Fayetteville.Â
A memorial service for Mr. Kinkle was held Friday, September 17, 2021, at Higgins Funeral Home. Carl was born on February 27, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Carl, Sr. and Pearl Vaughn Kinkle. Mr. Kinkle graduated from East High School and majored in art in both high school and college. Carl was owner and manager of Crawford Supply Company. He was a member of Fayetteville First Presbyterian Church and in later years attended the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Carl was a dog lover and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gun collecting, music, and was an avid UT football fan.Â
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Vaughn Kinkle; son, Chad Crawford (Amy Lee) Kinkle; granddaughter, Sloane Bronwyn Kinkle; and half-sister, Mary Sue Fahey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Mattie Davis.
