Tampa Bay Lightning announce Training Camp roster

On the eve of their 2021-22 Training Camp, the Tampa Bay Lightning announced the 60 players that will compete for spots on the roster for the upcoming season. Among the rostered veterans and recent draft picks, there are six non-contract invitees among the players that will be skating at the TGH IcePlex in Brandon.

The players will be split into three groups and take to the ice at different times throughout the day to help manage the chaos a bit. It’s an expanded group compared to the 43 that were in camp before last season. COVID protocols helped condense last year’s roster, but there was also the fact that there weren’t many spots up for grabs.
