The Washington High School Class of 1971 held their 50-year Reunion over the past weekend.
Washington Community Schools says it was an eventful weekend which included a tour of Washington High School and North Elementary.
The Class of 1971 also created a Legacy Fund to give back to their alma mater.
They presented the Golden Pride Marching Band with a donation of $5,000.00. The funds will be used to purchase new instruments.
They also presented Mr. Tom Lee, Principal at Helen Griffith Elementary, with a donation of $700.00 to purchase a 3D printer for their STEM lab.
The School Corporation said they were very thankful for the generosity of the Class of 1971.
