Aaron Rodgers’ long hair is for a mysterious Halloween costume

Get used to seeing Aaron Rodgers with long hair.

The Packers quarterback revealed Tuesday that he is growing out his mane for a Halloween costume.

“I have a month-ish until Halloween, and this [hair] has been a year in the making for my costume,” he said at the 2:35:35 mark of the “Pat McAfee Show.”

Although Rodgers wouldn’t “give it away,” he teased that his costume is “somebody who is a hero of mine, who has long-ish hair.”

Rodgers ruled out that he’s also growing a matching mustache.

It’s likely Rodgers will team up with fiancee, actress Shailene Woodley, for a joint costume, which is common among star couples. In 2019, the one-time Super Bowl champion Rodgers and ex Danica Patrick dressed as Deb and Uncle Rico, characters from “Napoleon Dynamite.”

During his weekly “Book Club” segment on the “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers also discussed Green Bay’s 35-17 win over the Lions on Monday — which followed the team’s brutal Week 1 loss to the Saints, 38-3.

“I think each team needs to re-learn to win and deal with adversity every season. We didn’t handle it well the first week and [in Week 2] we handled it well,” he said. “There wasn’t a freak-out…. I am proud of our guys… because we kind of just stuck together.”

In the first two weeks of the season, Rodgers has completed 37 of 55 passes for 388 yards, with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
