Spickard Driver Seriously Injured In Mercer County Accident

A Spickard resident was seriously injured following a two vehicle accident southeast of Princeton Tuesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 74 year old Diana Miller of Spickard was driving westbound on Route E at Route C, 7 miles southeast of Princeton, and crossed the center line of the highway to make a left hand turn. That caused a head-on collision with a truck operated by 54 year old Jeffrey Seimer of Princeton. Both vehicles stayed in the roadway.
Miller was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to Truman Medical Center. The other driver was not listed as injured.
The accident took place at 10:20 Tuesday morning. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Highway Patrol.
