EastEnders spoilers follow.
Mick and Linda Carter have decided to leave Walford in EastEnders.
The couple has been embroiled in a feud with Rainie Highway ever since Rainie discovered that Max Branning is the father of Linda's baby.
Mick resorted to telling Mitch Baker and the Taylors that Rainie is back on drugs in order to discredit her allegations about Max.
In Tuesday's (September 21) episode, Mick remained intent on officially signing the baby's birth certificate as her official father.
Linda was overwhelmed when she finally saw one of the posters Rainie had been putting up around the Square announcing Max's fatherhood.
Meanwhile, Mitch and the Taylors confronted a stunned Rainie with the drugs accusations in the middle of the Square.
Stuart Highway was forced to step in on his wife's behalf when her panicked reaction was only making her surrogate Bernie more and more convinced the drugs rumours were true.
Stuart turned his anger towards old friend Mick Carter by confronting him in the pub. Giving Mick an ultimatum, Stuart demanded Mick clear things up with the Taylors and then Rainie will leave them alone.
But if Mick refused to make things right, Stuart threatened that the Carters' problems would get far worse than they have been so far.
Linda was now under more pressure, so she convinced Mick that the best thing for their family was for Mick, Ollie and Annie to go with her to her mum's for a while. But what will happen to the Vic?
EastEnders has released photos showing Janine Butcher behind the bar at the Vic, leading to questions over how much control she will get over the pub.
Kellie Bright is set to take a break from EastEnders following the birth of her son Rudy Joy Stocker, who arrived back in July.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
