With training camp set to begin next week for NBA teams, a pair of Houston Rockets rookies appear to be adjusting well to their new teammates during recent scrimmages.

Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun have apparently been part of one group that is performing very well in practice. The duo of Green and Sengun, along with Danuel House Jr. and Anthony Lamb, are dominating in scrimmages, according to Kelly Iko of The Athletic.

Recently, (House has) been developing on-court chemistry with Green. The Rockets have been hosting intra-roster scrimmages for the past few weeks, and sources say the Green-House-Sengun-Lamb team has been dominating. Green and House have played well off each other, which bodes well for the weeks ahead.

The early display by Green and Sengun may not be all that surprising considering they both performed very well with the Rockets in the Las Vegas Summer League. The success they experienced further proved the Rockets had one of the best draft hauls this year.

Green was named to all-summer league second team after averaging 20.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and two assists in three games. Meanwhile, Sengun averaged 14.5 points, 11 rebounds, three blocked shots, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals in four games.

Houston is building toward the future and will rely heavily on Green, Sengun and the rest of its young core. Certainly, it is a positive sign to see the group jelling so well ahead of the start of the season.
