Nolan Arenado got the scoring started with a two-run home run in the first inning for his 33rd long ball of the year. Avisail Garcia and Luis Urias each hit a home run for the Brewers. Freddy Peralta was tagged with the loss after allowing three earned runs over six innings of work. Luis Garcia closed out the game for the Cardinals for his first save of the season.
St. Louis is now 80-and-69 while the Brewers slipped to 91-and-59.
