‘Virgin River’ Star Martin Henderson Has Good News for Jack & Mel Fans

It appears Martin Henderson (Jack Sheridan) is just as excited as we are about seasons four and five of Virgin River.

The 46-year-old actor recently celebrated Netflix’s renewal on his personal Instagram account and shared a never-before-seen video teasing what’s to come in the all-new episodes. (And yes, that includes more Jack and Mel.)

“Something big is coming,” the video says alongside a montage of footage. “There will be ups…there will be downs…”

The clip goes on to confirm the inevitable: “There will be more…and more…and more…moments with Jack and Mel.” Amen to that.

Henderson captioned the post, “Yep. This is happening. Such a relief to finally share this news with all of you who’ve been patiently waiting. Virgin River Season 4 and 5 are in the works thanks to all of you passionate fans…thank you!! so much more drama to come…#virginrivernetflix.”

The post comes just one day after Netflix renewed Virgin River for seasons four and five. Ben Hollingsworth (Dan Brady) and Colin Lawrence (John “Preacher” Middleton) also confirmed the upcoming installment will consist of 12 episodes, instead of ten.

Shortly after the news broke, the show’s official IG page celebrated with a clever video. The clip features Henderson jokingly getting down on one knee and asking Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel Monroe) to do season four. The caption read, “Season 4 and Season 5 picked up by Netflix! Thank each and everyone of you for all your support! We so appreciate it!”
