A commercial building is finding new life in the Sand Hill community. The Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission along with the Board of Commissioners recently approved a request to rezone the property at 2991 Shady Grove Road from agricultural to commercial in order for the applicant to open a convenience store and gas station. The new station will be near the intersection of SandHill – Shady Grove Roads.

The convenience store will feature twenty parking spaces and will utilize the existing building on the property. There is no word on when the renovations will begin or when the store will open. Just recently the MetroWest Realty sign was removed as the sale has been 100% finalized. Stay tuned to the City Menus as more information becomes available.
