North Platte man accused of assault with phone charger, trash can

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-Police have arrested a man on suspicion of domestic violence that happened last month.

Police said on Aug. 2, at 3:37 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 Block of East 4th. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who indicated they had been assaulted by Timothy Kramer, 37.

Police said the victim advised they had been assaulted that day and the previous day by Kramer.

Police said the victim stated they had been punched, kicked, hit with a phone charger cord and a trash can, as well as had a phone thrown at them.

Police said the victim had injuries consistent with the account of the events that occurred.

Following further investigation, police said probable cause was established to arrest Kramer but officers were unable to locate him.

An arrest warrant was issued for Kramer and on Sept. 20, Kramer was located and taken into custody.

Kramer was incarcerated at the Lincoln County Detention Center for two counts of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault.
