Deadly shooting Tuesday morning in Fresno

FRESNO Calif, (FOX26) — Homicide detectives are at the scene of a deadly shooting at Franklin Ave. and Broadway St., near Belmont and Fulton.

The call came in around 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Police say a man was shot outside a home on Franklin Ave. He was later identified as 36-year-old Ralph Rivas.

He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Police say the shooter is a man in a light-colored SUV.

Police think Rivas was visiting the home when the shooting happened.
