Robinson Man Sentenced to Eleven Years on Meth Charges

(Robinson) – A Robinson man was sentenced to more than a decade behind bars during a court appearance last week. According to Crawford County State’s Attorney Cole Shaner, sixty-five-year-old Ronald Douglas of Robinson was sentenced to eleven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a year and half of Mandatory Supervised Release on a Class X Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Douglas was arrested last August as a result of a lengthy multi-agency investigation. The Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force assisted in the prosecution of this case.
