“Real Housewives” star Heather Dubrow is returning to her alma mater, and she’s bringing TV cameras with her.
Dubrow, who graduated from Syracuse University in 1990 and won Miss Syracuse in 1989, will be visiting the SU campus on Thursday, Sept. 23, for a live recording of her podcast “Heather Dubrow’s World.” The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Schine Underground, and will be filmed for Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“Heather studied musical theatre at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts and is thrilled to return to her alma mater for this special visit,” an announcement said.
The podcast recording will feature Dubrow talking via Zoom with two special Syracuse alumni guests who are also reality television stars: Josh Altman of “Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles” and Ashley Iaconetti Haibon of “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise.” Altman, who was a backup kicker on the Syracuse football team with Donovan McNabb, graduated from SU in 2001 and Haibon, best known as “Ashley I.” on farmer Chris Soules’ season of “The Bachelor,” is a 2013 alumna.
Tickets and Syracuse University ID are required to attend. Tickets are free and available at the Student Box Office.
Dubrow, who was known as Heather Kent when she attended SU, lives in Orange County, California, with her husband, plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow, and their four children. She starred on “RHOC” from 2012 to 2016, and is returning for the show’s upcoming 16th season, along with Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Noella Bergener and Jennifer Armstrong. (Past cast members include Vicki Gunvalson, Kelly Dodd, and Tamra Judge.)
“Orange you glad I’m back?” Dubrow joked in July.
This isn’t the first time Dubrow has revisited her college years. Last year, her podcast “Heather Dubrow’s World” featured an interview with Dubrow’s sorority sister, Peloton instructor Jenn Sherman; both were members of Sigma Delta Tau at SU in the ‘80s.
