HUDSON – Masks are once again required in Hudson town buildings following a Board of Health vote on Sept. 14.

The order took effect on Sept. 20 and applies to all employees and visitors regardless of vaccination status.

Children under two years of age are exempt from the order, as are individuals who are unable to wear a face mask due to a list of certain medical conditions.

The health department noted in a Facebook post on Sept. 16 that this order only applies to municipal buildings like the Town Hall and the Hudson Public Library.

“This requirement does NOT apply to all buildings in Hudson,” the department noted.

Hudson recorded zero COVID-19 cases in the week of June 28. Case counts have risen since then, with 31 new cases observed between Sept. 7 and Sept. 13.
