Members of the Waw-wil-a-way Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held their September meeting at Harmony Lake at Liberty Park in Hillsboro. The club is preparing for Constitution Week in the libraries and schools, with citizenship essays coming up. After the meeting, members planted two butterfly bushes in the flower garden as part of their conservation program. Members are asked to bring a non-perishable food for the food bank to the Oct. 9 meeting. The 125th anniversary booklets will also be distributed.
