One dead after motorcycle crash in Glocester

GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE)- A man died after crashing his motorcycle early on Tuesday morning in Glocester.

Nicholas Harris, 35, lost control of his motorcycle on Route 44 just past the Jackson School House curve, according to Glocester police.

Investigators found Harris unresponsive with serious head injuries upon arriving at the scene at around 12:30 a.m.

He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he later died.

Police said that Harris was not wearing a helmet.

The accident remains under investigation.
