The guys from ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption” had a lot to say about the 2 late calls made in the Alabama-Florida and Auburn-Penn State games.

The question for Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser, the c0-hosts of the show, was which call was the worst?

Wilbon thought the Auburn call was the worst out of the choices.

“Every coach in college football wants to call a fade, and it’s stupid,” said Wilbon. “Because the kids playing quarterback are not good enough, are not skilled enough. They don’t have that yet and the receivers aren’t all going to play on Sunday.”

He continued on his rant.

“Stop calling the fade! call something more creative. These coaches can’t be that lazy.”

Kornheiser thought both calls were terrible.

“Let me say about both of these plays: they are both awful and they are both DOA,” said Kornheiser.

Both of those calls basically cost Florida and Auburn the ball games on Saturday. Besides the calls, the big thing each co-host thinks came out of this is that the big names in college football aren’t as dominant as in years past.
