Rae L. Cartwright, 35, of Eldred Township, passed away on September 20, 2021.
She was born on April 18, 1986, in Pottstown, PA, daughter of David Varnes of North Carolina and Lynda Phillips of Eldred Township.
Rae graduated from Montoursville High School in 2004, served in the U.S. Navy, she worked at Leclerc, and Weis Markets, and she also loved cooking.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Gordon B. Phillips.
She is survived by her mother and father; maternal grandmother, Dorothy L. Phillips; paternal grandfather, Jack Varnes; sons, Michael and Jacob Cartwright; sisters, Danielle (Jason) Kulp, Lara (Ali) Java, and Chelsea (Matt) Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Rd. Williamsport, PA 17701 with Rev. John J. Chmil, as Celebrant. A burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home.
