One woman was seriously injured in a head-on crash in York County on Monday morning.

Police say the two-vehicle crash happened on Elm Street in Limerick around 10:45 Monday morning. 26-year-old Grace Moreau of Sanford was driving a Nissan Murano, which collided head-on with a Ford S-350.

Moreau suffered significant head injuries and was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Maine Medical Center.

The truck’s driver and passenger were evaluated at the scene and released.

A preliminary investigation shows Moreau may have crossed the center line and struck the oncoming truck.

The road was closed for four hours while crews reconstructed the crash.
