Former Ohio State football player Kirk Barton and Ken Stickney are being sued by the university for getting information about the football program in an unethical manner.

Kirk Barton and Ken Stickney are in hot water with the Ohio State football program after getting information on their players in an unethical manner.

Barton and Stickney, who went by NevadaBuck, have been fired by Buckeye Scoop for a myriad of unlawful financial and unethical moves to take advantage of their parent company.

These include but are not limited to taking money out of the site’s bank account to purchase vehicles and obtain other sponsorships without the site getting any of the money. As well as fixing a fantasy football league by changing lineups at halftime.

The most egregious of all is they reportedly paid an Ohio State football player directly to be an “insider” for them. This player was injured at the time of this agreement, so the university and the football program found it very odd he was watching film with his teammates on the side of the ball he did not play. Once Ohio State found out about it, the player was kicked off the team.

While Ohio State football fans always want the inside scoop, this reeks of yet another scandal.

In Ben Koo’s expose on Awful Announcing, it gets worse for Barton and Stickney with every passing paragraph. This is the unfortunate part of college athletics where people take advantage of young kids in the worst ways possible. Given that Barton is a former Buckeye football player, this is even more pathetic. To ruin a kid’s life and put one’s alma mater in jeopardy is truly sad.
