In "Crimson Blue," Urban questions his existence as he sings about "returning to the stars that we're made of."

"Am I inside a dream or wide awake? / If I can find the key, would I escape? / Caught in between the ledge and letting go / Nothing's the way it was anymore," he sings.

Urban recorded the original song for the Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers. The drama series is based on the Liane Moriarty novel and stars Urban's wife, actress Nicole Kidman.

Urban released "Crimson Blue" ahead of its debut in the Nine Perfect Strangers finale, which airs Wednesday.

Nine Perfect Strangers follows a group of nine strangers as they seek healing and transformation at boutique health and wellness resort. The series also stars Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall and Samara Weaving.

"Crimson Blue" is Urban's third song of 2021, following the singles "Out the Cage" featuring Breland and Nile Rodgers and "Wild Hearts." He released his 11th studio album, The Speed of Now Part 1, in September 2020.
