Sophomore forward Brendan McSorley (Randolph, N.J.), Davis Smith (Amherst, Mass.) and Paulo Lima (Lisbon, Portugal) each scored for the Friars.

• The Friars outshot the Pirates 7-3 in the first half and took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
