On Sept. 16, Jaquavius Tyjuan Partee, 23, Monroe, was arrested and charged with theft by taking. According to reports, an officer was called to Walmart to escort an employee from the property. Reports state that management at Walmart alleged that Partee removed $100 from a cash drawer. Partee was also trespassed from the business.
On Sept. 15, an information report was filed at a Billups Street residence. According to reports, a repossession agent alleged that while he was attempting to repossess a black dump trailer, the man at the residence bumped him with his truck. The Billups Street resident denied the allegation saying he had asked the repo agent to leave his property, in part, because he “was causing a disturbance.” A woman with a baby also said she stood next to the repo man to reassure him that he would not be hit by the truck. A man with the repo man said the repo man was hit lightly with the front of the resident’s truck. The repo man said he did not need medical attention.
On Sept. 16, a theft by taking complaint was filed at a Fifth Street residence. According to reports, a man said a table, two chairs and a black grill were removed from his property. A neighbor reported observing a FedEx truck near the property and this assertion led the man to suspect that the FedEx driver had taken his table, chairs and grill.
On Sept. 17, a simple battery complaint was filed at a Hough Circle residence. A female teen alleged that during an argument with her father where she said the father was not completing his “fair share” of household chores, the father allegedly threw her onto a bed and hit her in the head. The teen’s mother validated the teen’s version of events. The father said that when he called Morgan County Dispatch and alleged that the teen was using a knife to threaten people in the household, those allegations were false. The father did complain of health issues, however, and EMS was notified.
On Sept. 11, an entering auto complaint was filed at a Walker Rose Lane residence. According to reports, a man said someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet, driver’s license, debit card and credit card. The man said his credit card had been used to purchase a cell phone at a Walmart in Conyers.
On Sept. 11, a criminal damage to property complaint was filed at Morgan County High School, College Drive. According to reports, a man said someone had cut two of the tires on his vehicle with a knife. Video surveillance of the parking lot showing the incident was made available to investigators, reports state.
On Sept. 11, an entering auto complaint was filed at a Saye Creek Drive residence. According to reports, a man said someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed a utility bag of tools, other tools and a jump box.
On Sept. 11, a criminal damage to property complaint was filed at an Industrial Boulevard residence. According to reports, a man said when he started his truck he noticed it was “running loud.” The man said he investigated the noise and observed that someone had attempted to cut the catalytic converter off his truck, however, the attempt was unsuccessful.
On Sept. 13, an entering auto complaint was filed at a Walker Rose Lane residence. According to reports, a woman said someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and rolled the windows down. The complainant said nothing was reported stolen but that this was the second time someone had entered an auto at the residence.
On Sept. 13, a harassing phone calls complaint was filed at a Green Meadow Court residence. According to reports, a woman reported that she had been getting a series of calls with an immediate hang up from a Putnam County woman.
