The Atlanta Hawks will have some tough decisions to make with their roster in the coming months with the NBA season approaching. After making a surprise trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, they will have to decide which players they want to keep as their foundation going forward.

While they would like to keep everyone, that is just not feasible. Some players will move on, whether it is via trade as the Hawks change out some pieces or when they hit free agency.

Two players we know that will be a part of that future are Trae Young and John Collins.

Collins cashed in as a restricted free agent this summer, agreeing to a five-year, $125 million contract. Young received even more money, agreeing to a five-year, $207 million extension on his rookie deal.

Clint Capela also signed an extension this offseason for two more years, keeping him under contract through the 2024-25 season.

One player whose future may lie with another organization is Cam Reddish. Reddish was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft but he has yet to figure things out at the next level.

Reddish has battled injuries and inconsistency, failing to make an impact in his 84 regular-season games.

If Atlanta doesn’t want to wait and see that come out, plenty of teams will line up for him. One of them could be the Boston Celtics. What could a swap between the Celtics and Hawks centered around Reddish be? Let’s take a look.
