Batesville Pioneers fall to 0-3 Friday night at home

The Batesville Pioneers fell to 0-3 on the season after the Mountain Home Bombers defeated the Pioneers by a score of 35-7 at Pioneer Stadium.

The Pioneers’ only points of the game came on a 12-yard pass from Jay Storlie to Keaton Douglas in the final quarter.  Esler Ordonez kicked the extra point.

Juan Gonzalez had two interceptions on the evening for the Pioneers and Adrian Gutierrez recovered a fumble.

The Pioneers travel to Jonesboro next Friday to open 5A East play against the Nettleton Raiders.
