Officers say they found the homeowner with severe burns across their body when they arrived near 1311 Derby Court. They were then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Investigators say they found colanders, propane fuel tanks, and marijuana throughout the debris. They also say the explosion damaged nearby homes and was felt within blocks.

Officers say the Department of Justice stepped in and took over the investigation considering both toxic chemicals and contamination was involved.
