Dodgers look to take every series in Coors Field this year

The Los Angeles Dodgers in the middle of a long road trip leave Cincinnati after taking two out of three from the Reds to travel to Colorado for their last series against the red-hot Rockies in 2021.

One of the big storylines with Colorado has been their incredible home-road splits. In Coors Field the ball club has a .625 winning percentage going 45-27, on the road the story is different at 25-52 (.325).

In spite of those numbers, the Dodgers have fared rather well during their visits to Denver winning five of seven games at Coors Field, including three out of four in the season-opening series.

After a brief moment where it seemed like the Giants were just unbeatable, Los Angeles managed to jump back into the thick of things after San Diego took two straight to split a four game set in San Francisco.

The Dodgers now look to pounce on a scheduling advantage as they face a Rockies team that has really nothing to play for while their rivals take a trip to San Diego.

Colorado comes home with by far their most successful road trip of the season, winning seven of nine games in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Washington D.C.

Julio Urías starts the series opener Tuesday on five days rest, followed by Walker Buehler and Max Scherzer on four days rest each. The Dodgers are 11-5 against the Rockies this season.
