FORT COLLINS –– Though plenty of the Rams’ upcoming opponents had already become public knowledge over the past few months, the Colorado State men’s basketball team announced the final edition of its 2021-22 schedule on Monday afternoon.

As anticipated, coach Niko Medved’s NCAA Tournament-hopeful squad commences the regular season with an intriguing tilt against 2021 Sweet 16 participant Oral Roberts at Moby Arena on Nov. 9.

CSU then sticks around Fort Collins for two consecutive contests –– Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 12) and Peru State (Nov. 14) before hitting the road to participate in three games as a member of the 2021 Paradise Jam (Nov. 19-22).

Notably, the green and gold’s 12-game nonconference slate also includes Saint Mary’s at home (Dec. 4) and a trio of additional neutral-site clashes in Mississippi State (Dec. 11; Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Classic), Tulsa (Dec. 18; Hoop Hype XL Showcase) and Alabama (Dec. 21; C.M. Newton Classic).

As for the Rams’ 18-contest Mountain West schedule, CSU will face each league foe twice during the 2021-22 regular season except for Fresno State (Feb. 12; home) and San Jose State (Jan. 15; away).

UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center will host the annual Mountain West tournament from March 9-12 prior to postseason play.

Tip-off times will be announced at a later date as CBS Sports and Fox Sports complete a selection procedure.
