Connie Mae (Elting) Borchers

Connie Mae (Elting) Borchers was born Nov. 3, 1946, in Toledo, OR to James Everett and Ethel (Toddie) Elting. She passed away in Redmond, OR on Aug. 27, 2021, of Alzheimer's and Covid19. Connie was a 1964 graduate of Siletz High School. She married Gerry Lee Bright and had a daughter and a son. While raising their family they lived in the Siletz and Logsden areas before moving to Central Oregon. Later in life, Connie married Ronald Borchers. She loved music and dancing. A talented artist and gardener, she loved to share her creations with her family and friends. Connie is survived by husband Ron, Crooked River Ranch, OR; ex-husband Gerry, Terrebonne, OR; Daughter Tani Lee Bright, Crooked River Ranch, OR; son Michael Sean Bright (Mishell) Bright, Prineville, OR; ex-son-in-law Joel Tuttle, Crooked River Ranch, OR; granddaughter Chelsea (Justin) Blackmore, Culver, OR; grandson Logan (Andrea Mondragon) Tuttle, Madras, OR; 2 great granddaughters Irish Day and Elsie Tuttle; sisters Grace Castle, Veneta, OR; Jerri Cooper, Santa Clara, CA; Debby (Ed) Fawver, Siletz, OR and brothers James Elting, Eugene, OR and D. Ralph (Cynthia) Elting, Aloha, OR and numerous nieces and nephews.
