September 10, 2021

• Officers received a report of a theft from vehicle in the 1200 block of 18th Street. The case  is under investigation.
• A 2012 Toyota Highlander, registered to and driven by Sonya M Ackerson of Nashua, lowa, collided with a legally parked 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle, registered to Baruby Manuel Ruiz Salgado of 411 Fourth St., Perry, in in the 1100 block of Second Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $500.

September 11, 2021

• A 2019 Ford Explorer, registered to Roy Lee Pittman of 3385 170th St., Yale, and driven by Shirley Jean Pittman of 3385 170th St., Yale, collided with a 2021 GMC Yukon, registered to Chris Matthew Hinds of 308 Lucinda St., Perry, and driven by Lynn Marie Hinds of 308 Lucinda St., Perry at the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and Willis Avenue. Passengers in both units were transported by ambulance to hospitals in Des Moines. Damage was estimated at $35,000.
