An iconic crime series returns this week.

“NCIS” Season 19 premieres on CBS on Monday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT). You can also watch the show on Paramount+ (free trail) or FuboTV (7-day free trial).

The drama series, using the acronym for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, follows a Major Case Response Team stationed in Washington, D.C., supervised by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). In Season 18, fans were left on a cliffhanger as Gibbs’ boat blew up after he sailed away in it.

“As the NCIS team searches for Gibbs after wreckage from his boat is discovered, they find out he was tracking a serial killer with journalist Marcie Warren (Pam Dawber), who wrote an exposé on him,” the official description of the new season’s “sneak peek” video reads.

The cast of this new “NCIS” season includes Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, Rocky Carroll and David McCallum. Gary Cole joins the cast as new series regular FBI Special Agent Alden Park. As Harmon seems to be playing a smaller role in the upcoming “NCIS” season, media outlets have been questioning if Cole will be replacing Harmon in the upcoming season.

Another investigative series,”NCIS: Hawaii,” premieres Monday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT), directly following the “NCIS” Season 19 premiere. The official description reads “Vanessa Lachey stars as Jane Tennant, Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor, as she and her team balance duty to family and country, investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the island itself.”
