Country artist Morgan Wallen has announced a four-show concert tour with stops in Auburn and Mobile, with limited early sales beginning immediately and a general onsale starting Tuesday.
Wallen will play Oct. 23 at the Auburn Rodeo, a concert event at Sistrunk Farms in Opelika; that show also will feature Parker McCollum, Jon Langston and Trey Lewis. After stops in Bristol, Tenn., and Rome, Ga., he will perform at The Grounds in Mobile on Nov. 12. (The date is several days after the conclusion of the 2021 Greater Gulf State Fair on Nov. 7.) The Mobile show will feature Hardy, Ernest and Ashland Craft.
Full ticket information was not immediately available. According to Ticketmaster, presale tickets for the Mobile show were $55 general admission and $149 for VIP packages including parking pass, private viewing area and other perks.
Despite controversy that threatened to derail his career in early 2021, Wallen’s star has continued to rise. His “Dangerous: The Double Album” is a Country Music Association Nominee for album of the year though he is banned in other categories, and he recently led a benefit concert for Tennessee flood victims that raised a reported $725,000.
