Cain (hip) isn't starting Monday's game against the Cardinals.
Cain will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he exited Saturday's contest with a hip injury. He's still considered day-to-day, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available off the bench in Monday's series opener. Jackie Bradley will start in center field and bat eighth.
