No Masks In Lift Lines Or Reservations Required At Park City Mountain This Season

Park City Mountain

Vail Resorts, owner of Park City Mountain Resort, announced COVID-19 safety protocols for the upcoming ski season, and they’re less strict than last year.

Unlike last season, Vail says skiers won’t need reservations to ride Park City Mountain lifts this winter, and lifts and gondolas will carry passengers at normal capacity.

Skiers will not have to wear masks in lift lines.  Masks are only required indoors, including in restaurants, restrooms, rental shops, buses and other community areas.

Similar to last season, guests will need reservations to eat at restaurants, but Vail says to expect more seating availability.

Some restaurants will only allow vaccinated guests. Those 12 and over will have to show proof of vaccination to eat at indoor cafeteria-style restaurants on the mountain.

Vail will also require vaccines for all employees.  Workers must also adhere to enhanced hygiene practices, like wearing masks indoors and daily health screenings.

Park City Resort will open for skiing Friday, November 19.
