A month after naming its new director, Missoula Montana Airport on Monday followed by announcing its new deputy, naming Tim Damrow to the position.

Damrow, who served as the airport's director of projects prior to his new appointment, has helped spearhead the construction of the facility's new passenger terminal. As deputy, he'll continue to oversee that project, along with airport operations, maintenance and public safety.

“I'm extremely humbled and excited for the opportunity ahead,” said Damrow. “We have an amazingly talented team of professionals here at the airport and I'm thankful to be part of it. Our staff takes great pride in showing passengers what true Montana hospitality looks like, all while maintaining a safe and friendly airport experience.”

Originally from Helena and a University of Montana graduate, Damrow has spent the last 15 years working around aviation. Prior to his former role at the airport, he spent 6 years with Allegiant Air in Las Vegas.

He also is a certified pilot and remote UAS operator, and he was recently recognized as a “40 Under 40” by Airport Business Magazine.

Damrow replaces Brian Ellestad as deputy director. Ellestad last month was named the airport's new director.

“I am excited to have Tim move into the deputy director position. Not only has he provided great leadership during our terminal construction, but he will provide that same passion and energy to his new position.” said Ellestad.
