Billy Porter brought some serious bling to the Emmys 2021 red carpet.
The fashion-forward “Pose” actor, 52, quite literally spread his wings on Sunday, dressed in a dramatic all-black ensemble by Ashi Studio and dripping in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.
Among Porter’s many baubles? A show-stopping necklace encrusted with 49.93 carats of white diamonds and 34.78 carats of emeralds, all set in 18-karat white gold.
The jeweler, whose pieces are also loved by the likes of Blake Lively and Beyoncé, told Page Six Style that the jaw-dropping piece is worth a cool $1 million.
But that wasn’t the end of the star’s sparkle; Porter also sported a set of diamond-studded ear cuffs from Schwartz — which, as stylist Colin Anderson revealed on Instagram, were actually fashioned from a brooch.
And on top of his black gloves, Porter piled on two sparkling cuff-style bracelets and no fewer than six gleaming cocktail rings from H.Crowne, one of which he lost while posing for the cameras (don’t worry, it was quickly recovered).
“I am the fairy godmother,” the “Cinderella” actor quipped of the inspiration behind his high-flying look for the night, telling E! that the ruffled panels on his outfit were initially supposed to be floor-length.
When that “didn’t work out,” Porter added, he decidedly to embrace his “wings.”
While the presenter lost the Best Actor in a Drama award to “The Crown” star Josh O’Connor this year, his performance as Pray Tell on “Pose” nabbed him the same honor in 2020 — making Porter the first openly gay black man to win the category.
And he still scored high marks on the fashion front, of course.
