Eagles place tight end Zach Ertz on COVID-19 list ahead of Cowboys matchup
The Eagles announced Monday that tight end Zach Ertz was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
NFL Network reported that Ertz is fully vaccinated and tested positive for COVID-19.
If so, Ertz could return in time for the upcoming game next Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. For that to happen, he would have to be asymptomatic and have two negative tests at least 24 hours apart during this week.
Ertz, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, has 3 catches for 40 yards this season for the Eagles (1-1). He's 26 catches away from setting the Eagles' all-time record for receptions, as Hall of Famer Harold Carmichael has 589 in his career.
